When every second counts, ordinary people can do extraordinary things.
Earlier this year, a member of our community immediately recognized a cardiac arrest and began CPR before first responders arrived. Their quick actions gave the patient the best possible chance at survival.
When Colton Fire crews arrived, care was seamlessly continued with advanced life support, resulting in the patient achieving Return of Spontaneous Circulation (ROSC) before transport.
In the first picture you can see the the young man that stepped up without hesitation—thank you. Your actions made a difference.
In the second photo, you’ll see the gentleman whose life was saved after suffering a cardiac arrest. A powerful reminder that early CPR and teamwork save lives.
